VUKANIMANZUZA GROUP PTY LTD together with Overlooked Group has hosted a Youth Day sports tournament in conjunction with the 47th anniversary of the Soweto uprising of 1976 as part of the community outreach efforts, we have celebrated this day with 29 soccer teams and 9 netball teams, with over 500 community supporters.
The 2023 Youth Day sports tournament featured Overlooked group teams, Vukanimanzuza, Ritluka, Kriel SAPS & community teams from across the greater Kriel & Ga-Nala communities, where Usuthu FC won a whopping R10 000 & a soccer kit as the first prize winner in the category.
Our philosophical ideology with the community development initiative program in the contribution towards community development has various program that provides a safe environment at the grassroots & community level, such as Mandela Day where we collaborated with Blue Mining Services, Sentinal, Icebo Lencebo, Piet Vele, to maintain, repair renovate our community schools. We contributed to the women empowerment event hosted by the Ga-Nala women structure-Launch that aims to promote women in the economy and close gender gaps in the world of work & business with a key to achieving the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development & achievement of sustainable development goals.
The Ga-Nala event provided learning opportunities to the attendees through information sharing by the speaker & building a network with women Ga-Nala has inspired women of the other surroundings & nearby towns to come together and work towards a better future for all women, girl child, and boy child.
